To request a Mount distance ID, complete the request form (link below).

  • Your Mount Moodle/Webmail login is used for Library database and e-book access
  • Your Novanet library account and Document Delivery services only accept the Mount ID card login.

Using the Mount distance ID card request form, you may request that the barcode number and password be sent to you via email, or you may also have a distance ID card mailed to you. The distance ID card along with a CAUL card can be used to borrow books from most Canadian universities (with the exception of the University of Toronto).

If you are interested in searching for online books and articles in the Mount's e-collections, please explore the links below.

This ID request form is ONLY for distance students and faculty who live outside of travelling distance of the MSVU Campus. If you live within travelling distance of the MSVU campus please come to the library for a picture ID card. Please check the Library's hours before you come to campus.
