You can borrow books for sure! Just drop in to MSVU or any university library in Nova Scotia, bring a couple of pieces of id and you will be set up in the Novanet system. You can then borrow from all university and NSCC libraries in Nova Scotia, plus you can return items from ANY public, university or NSCC Library as well! It's a great service. You will also be able to have books delivered to the Mount, from other academic libraries too.

You won't have access to databases off of campus, but you can access them at the Mount Library - we can log you on to a computer to search the databases.

Another option for online research are several Open Access and/or public domain sites which allow free access to research resources to everyone. Below is a link to some of the Open Access resources we use here at the Mount Library. You can select your subject area and/or type of database to further refine this list.
