Articles are best found using the Library's databases, and there are many databases to choose from.

To begin, locate the Subject Guide for your program area or topic of interest. Our best databases in which to search for that topic area are listed there. [See links below].

Each database will give you various options for searching: keyword, title, journal title, author, etc. with options to limit your results by date, scholarly/peer review, document type, and more. Though they may look different, databases usually have the same functions built-in, including glossaries, indexes, or thesauri to help you refine your search terms.

If you are new to searching databases and would like to receive a demo and talk about search strategies with one of our research help staff, click book an appointment to schedule a meeting with one of our research help staff or email library@msvu.ca.
