The Mount distance ID request form is for distance students and faculty who live outside of travelling distance of the MSVU Campus or are enrolled in distance classes.
If you are able to, please come to the library on the MSVU campus for a picture ID card. Please check the Library's hours before you come to campus.
To request a Mount distance ID, complete the request form (link below).
On the Mount distance ID card request form, you may request that the barcode number and password be sent to you via email, and/or that a distance ID card mailed to you.
Why do you need a Mount Distance ID Card?
The distance ID card, along with a CAUL(Council of Atlantic University Libraries) card can be used to borrow books from most Canadian universities (with the exception of the University of Toronto).
- Your Mount Moodle/Webmail login is used for Library database and e-book access
- Your Novanet library account and Document Delivery services only accept the Mount ID card login.
