Q. How do I request or renew my Mount ID card?

Mount ID request/renew in-person

You can visit the Library Front Desk on campus to have your photo taken and receive your ID right away.

Mount ID request/renew online

If you cannot visit campus, request or renew your Mount ID card & pin by mail, complete the Mount ID request/renew form.

Photo ID cards must always be picked up in person at the Library Desk. New ID cards sent by mail do not generally include a photo; they include a photo of the MSVU campus but are otherwise identical: same barcode, student number, etc. Distance Students cannot submit photos through the Student ID Card Photo Upload tool unless they are able to pick up their card in person at the Library.

Card Renewals

If you already have a Mount ID card, a sticker validating the card for the current academic year can be mailed to you or picked up in person.
